Valentine's Day Dining at Park Chalet in San Francisco
On Valentine's Day, Thursday, Feb. 14, Park Chalet in San Francisco will be open from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM serving the regular a la carte menu all day plus after 5:00 PM special a la carte offerings will be available including main courses of Scottish Salmon with smashed potato, arugula, pine nut, golden raisins, cider sauce ($22.00); Porterhouse for Two with smoked fingerling potatoes, shaved Brussels sprouts, blue cheese au jus ($60.00); Lobster Papperdelle “Thermador” with melted leeks, herbed Parmesan cream, wild mushrooms ($32.00); Smoked Tomato Lasagna with Yukon Gold potatoes, herbed ricotta, wild mushrooms ($16.00); Braised Short Ribs with mushroom and pancetta ragout, mascarpone polenta ($22.00); Linguini Provencal with salmon, cod, scallops, clams, mussels, chile flakes ($21.00); Seared Scallops with acorn squash puree, roasted baby root vegetables ($23.00); and Steak Frites with shoestring fries, watercress, caramelized onion demi ($21.00). There will be a complimentary Valentine's Day gift of chocolate truffles.
