Have you ever been out for a walk and wondered if any of the plants around you could make it to your dinner plate? Join GRPC and urban foraging enthusiast Jeremy Dalton for a two hour workshop on finding and cooking edible weeds. Jeremy will teach participants how to identify edible plants and then lead the class on a foraging excursion around the Guadalupe River Park and Gardens. Finally the class will come back to the Visitor Center to cook up some of the fruits of their labor. This class is open to all ages; minors must be accompanied by an adult.
This program takes place at the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy Visitor & Education Center, 438 Coleman Ave., San Jose. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited. For more information, visit
