Dusty Stax and The Bold Italic are pleased to announce the return of the popular summer formal series at the Verdi Club on Saturday, June 15. This party, legendary for its good lookin’ guests and great times, is having its two-year anniversary this year. We’ve always said these formals are like a “prom for adults,” and because we’re feeling a little nostalgic, we’re giving the room an “Under the Sea Soul Dance” theme.
Join us and you’ll spend quality time dancing to the talented crooners of the Gold Star Soul Revue Band, including Quinn DeVeaux, Meryl Press, Noelle Cahill, Jen Snyder, and Paula Frazer. Their performances will be bookended by sets of classic tracks from San Francisco’s own DJ Sama.
They'll have their friendly ace photographer, Gabriel Wheeler, to capture everyone in their famous photo booth, so you can share with the world just how fabulous you look. And included in admission price is a delicious summertime cocktail.
Dress Code: No denim will be permitted. For fellas: ties and collars are a must, and leave those sneakers in the gym bag. Ladies: you know what to do.
