On Saturday, May 18, Ghirardelli Square will host the 8th annual Uncorked! festival. Tasting tickets for Uncorked! are $50 and include a souvenir wine glass and unlimited tastings. All other activities at Uncorked! are free of charge for attendees. This event features cooking demonstrations by renowned Bay Area chefs, seminars and live musical entertainment. The 7th Annual Uncorked! in 2012 drew nearly 10,000 attendees. Beach Street will be closed to traffic for the event to provide room for over 40 Northern California wineries, breweries and other merchants. Wine and other vendors will be showcased throughout the courtyards of Ghirardelli Square as well.All proceeds of the event will be donated to local non-profit Save The Bay. http://www.savesfbay.org
