SEE EVENT DETAILS
Emmy Award-winning choreographer and dancer Yaelisa once again presents her flamenco students in recital at SOMarts in San Francisco on Friday and Saturday, June 26-27 at 8pm. Two evenings celebrating the joy of accomplishment in the art of flamenco in all its facets, with a full cast of world class artists accompanying the performances with original music by guitarist Jason McGuire "El Rubio," and the talented singer/dancers La Reyes, from San Diego, Clara Rodriguez and Yaelisa herself, along with musicians maestro McGuire on guitar, Marlon Aldana, percussion and Paul Martin Sounder on upright bass. Yaelisa presents her School of Flamenco students from beginners to advanced in all new exciting choreographies, staged and directed by Yaelisa as a year-end homage to the dedication and love of flamenco they all feel. For the first time in many years, she is including her beginner classes in these performances and the excitement is building. Last year's performances at SOMarts were sold out, so we recommend you reserve your ticket early - tickets go up in price after June 10.
