E Komo Mai . . . to the ‘UKULELE FESTIVAL of Northern California
Please come join us at the 22nd ‘Ukulele Festival of Northern California . . . the longest running ukulele festival on the Mainland!
This family event will be held on Sunday, April 24, at Chabot College Performing Arts Center, Hayward.
We are also celebrating the 100th Anniversary of our long-time sponsor, Kamaka Ukulele of Hawai’i.
Continuous performances from 10:45 am to 5:00 pm, concluding with a special concert featuring Hawaii’s ukulele virtuosos Bryan Tolentino, Herb Ohta, Jr., and Kalei Gamiao, joined by Chris Kamaka, Asa Young, and Del Beazley.
Other performers include: AHAmele, Lei Hulu Strings, Hannah & Kailee, Pleasanton Ukulele Band, Ben Ahn, Ukulele Club of Ventura County, Brit Rodriguez, Ka La’i O Mele, Kaleponi Strings with Halau Hula O Pu’uwai, Kamaki Keawe, Bohemian Ukuleles, Rogie Cadiente, RAG, Na Leo Pumehana, and Michelle Hokulea Kiba.
Arts and crafts and food booths, open at 9:00 am. Box office opens at 9:45 am. Theater doors open at 10:15 am.
Free parking.
Tickets: Advance/discounted tickets ($22.50 single/$20.00 each for set of four) available through online orders at our website ukulelefestivalnorcal.org through April 15. $25.00 at door. Children 4 years and younger are free.
