Distorted, screaming vocals, the only evidence they are even human is the genuine emotion behind them; the drum patterns are so primal, so apocalyptic, so crushing that they often sound prehistoric; and the bass lines are so corrosive and acidic they deny any sort of melodic comfort in even the most obtuse sense.
