Abilities United is pleased to announce "Transformations: Creativity from the Inside Out", an exhibition in partnership with The Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco. Responding to Pinocchio’s metamorphoses from wooden puppet to real boy, featured artists work in a variety of media to represent personal as well as universal transformations: seasons change, people age, and emotions are in flux.
As the main juried exhibition is on view at The Walt Disney Family Museum from September 21 – December 5, a sister exhibition will open at Abilities United from October 10 - December 21, inaugurating Abilities United’s first on-site exhibition located at 3864 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. The Palo Alto exhibition will showcase additional artwork by 19 Abilities United artists inspired by a film that stands as one of Walt Disney’s most important contributions to the art of animation.
