Over the past five and a half years, a lot of great artists have played at Tormenta Tropical. And though we don't like to play favorites, we're just going to go ahead and say it:
UPROOT ANDY IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE ARTISTS.
Co-founder of New York's Que Bajo?! party (and new record label, which we're very excited about), Andy is someone whose musical mission meshes perfectly with our own. He's also an absolute badman DJ, and always brings tons of unreleased heat, most of which he's produced himself.
Having Uproot Andy at Tormenta Tropical is always a treat for everyone. We can't think of a better way to kick off the summer. And of course, residents ORO11 and SHAWN REYNALDO will be in the house with their usual assortment of cumbia and tropical jams.
It's going to be a good night.
