When Tony Lindsay isn't filling in lead singer duties for the legendary Carlos Santana, he tours around the country with his own group, the Tony Lindsay Band, which plays more R&B infused-jazz numbers than Latin rock. Lindsay's pitch-perfect, soulful voice, which has worked so well for Santana for two decades, is in full form with his own much mellower material. Lindsay does play the occasional Santana tune in his set as well to please those hardcore Santana fans. (JS)
