The decor is funky pop art with a Go-Go sixties feeling. Some describe it as Andy Warhol meets the Jetsons, with lots of greens, pinks and soft purples. The food is fresh and inventive. Executive chef Kiyoshi Hayakawa has created dishes like the Tuna & Salmon Tartare, Beef Tataki, and Tokyo Crunch roll that will leave you dreaming in your cubicle the next day. Drinks like the Marko Cosmo, made from Charbay Blood Orange Vodka, or the Mission Manhattan are cocktails at their finest.
It is recommended that you get reservations, especially for large parties. Otherwise come in, grab a cocktail and enjoy.
Tokyo Go-Go has a fun Tokyo eatery feel, where fresh sashimi, nigiri and the like sit along side a menu that features spicy guacamole and shrimp chips or prawn potato cake served with corn salsa verde. It accomplishes that goal with ease, creating a Mission equivalent of the classic Ace Wasabi.
