Annual TNDC Birthday Dinner Celebrates

May 17th Benefit to Feature Dinner, Dancing,
Music and Awards Ceremony
San Francisco, CA -- Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC) will celebrate its 35th Annual Birthday Dinner on Tuesday, May 17 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. The annual birthday party will honor home, health and happiness and feature cocktails, dinner, a heartwarming program emceed by ABC7 anchor Michael Finney, dinner accompaniment by Synchronicity Strings, dancing and live entertainment and after-dinner dance music by DJ King Most and a ‘Happy Birthday’ sing-along with Beach Blanket Babylon.
The 35th birthday celebration will feature will include the annual presentation of Brother Kelly Cullen Service Award named for the late former TNDC Executive Director, and given to an individual or organization that shows extraordinary community spirit and compassion in providing services to San Francisco’s poorest and neediest residents. This year’s award will be presented by Jane Kim (invited) and will go to Felicia Elizondo, for her leadership in the LGBT community.
Hundreds of supporters will be on hand to celebrate TNDC’s decades-long history of providing safe, affordable housing and support services for low-income people in San Francisco. Individual tickets to TNDC’s Annual Birthday Dinner are $250 each, and tables start at $3,000. Sponsorship opportunities are available. About Felicia Elizondo
Felicia is a pioneer in the LGBT rights movement and a longtime TNDC resident – at the Pierce Street Apartments. Felicia has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for AIDS/HIV organizations and has received awards from Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Tenderloin Tessie, the SF AIDS Foundation, Positive Resource Center, Shanti Project and Openhouse. Felicia is a nationally known and celebrated speaker in the LGBT rights movement and HIV/AIDS education.
