Description
After a successful debut in March, Earl Dax returns to San Francisco to present another Last Wednesdays edition of Tingel Tangel Club. The event features DJs, dancing and live performance. For the June featured performer, visit www.tingeltangleclub.com

Last Wednesdays of the month turn the tony Bubble Lounge on its head as the financial services crowd gives way to the vibrant cross-section of San Francisco artists, performers and glorious freaks who join independent curator and producer Earl Dax for the West Coast outpost of Tingel Tangel Club. Already an underground phenomenon in New York City (where guest performers have included Moby and Ana Matronic), Tingel Tangel Club is the wicked sister to Dax's "Weimar New York" which played SF MOMA for two performances in February and is presented here in San Francisco in conjunction with Emmanuelle Chiche and The Jackie Factory.

Each month East meets West as an eclectic mix of West Coast performers and deejays share the bill with their New York City counterparts. The May 28 edition of Tingel Tangel Club is emceed by "Nuyorasian sensation" Kate Rigg (Chink-O-Rama, Slanty-Eyed Mama) and features Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist Novice Theory. A breakout star in "Weimar New York" at SF MOMA, Novice Theory sold out his debut concert at Joe's Pub in April and was a featured guest in Justin Bond's "Luster" at P.S. 122. Bay Area performers who represent in May include novelist and performer Kirk Read ("How I Learned to Snap") with musician Jeffrey Alphonsus Mooney, chanteuse Veronica Klaus (Tuesdays at Enrico's) and burlesque performer Alotta Boutté (Harlem Shake).
