San Jose's favorite battle rapper Dirtbag Dan takes a break from slinging insults at other emcees, and performs a set of his tunes, along with main support, L.A. rapper Cadalack Ron. Last year, Dan released the Self Help Tapes, which showed his much more serious, sensitive side. "What you Make It" is a tender, emotional hip-hop tune about all the people in his life he loves the most. (This is coming from the dick joke king of the battle circuit). Earlier this year he raised 10 grand on Kickstarter to fund his next LP. San Jose anxiously awaits the results. Other rappers performing include City Shawn, Lush One, Sean Blak, Ocalaholics, Frugal Farmacy, Omino Jakku and Late for Dinner. (Stephen Layton)
