After months of anticipation, the stage if finally set in Golden Gate Park for the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival. Still undecided about your festival plans? Get a taste of what's to come with a playlist curated by our bloggers and fly under the radar with K-Flay, the local emcee holding two degrees from Stanford who's starting the party on Friday. There's also plenty of action before, after and during the festival. Egyptian Lover is back with 80s electro-funk flavor and Tormenta Tropical hosts a night of carioca funk at the Elbo Room. DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown (a.k.a. Erykah Badu) and Questlove both have DJ sets at local venues after their festival performances and the party is back on the Bay during the Sunset Summer Boat Cruise. Dolores Park has seen better days, but that's not stopping a screening of Jaws for Film Night in the Park at Dolores Park, and Sunday Streets is bringing a little extra love to the Tenderloin.

Congrats to VIP Outside Lands Tickets Winner Renata Santillan!

Imelda May, born in Dublin and raised in the Liberties, may be an unknown name to some, but to many she is already a superstar.
