The Lineup

Record collectors, specialty shoe aficionados and the usual suspects found in the Upper Haight have another reason to head to the historic San Francisco neighborhood this weekend with the return of Haight-Ashbury Fair. Celebrating its 35th year with musical guests The Tubes, Chuck Prophet and Jenni Williams, plus vendors and all the chicken on a stick you can afford to eat, it's one of San Francisco's biggest street parties. Indie Mart returns to Thee Parkside with local artisans and local artists are on display at the Flora N Fauna Opening Reception. The North American Bboy Championships brings dancers from around the world to compete at the Palace of Fine Arts and the 2nd Sunday Season Opener welcomes Chicago house pioneer DJ Sneak to San Francisco for a daytime party. The party moves to Treasure Island for Sunset Island: Magda, BNJMN, Eddie C and former hip-hop queen bee Lil' Kim is back on stage with something to prove at a rare appearance at Mezzanine.

Weekly Giveaway: Win 2 tickets to R16 North American Bboy Championships! How do you plan to stay active this weekend? Let us know on our FB page for a chance to win!
