If you aren't among the masses leaving SF for the long weekend, you have plenty of options this week. Celebrate spring and the long weekend with a little extra skin as San Francisco's Carnaval Street Party and Parade take over the Mission. Before you take to dancing in the streets (there are plenty more opportunities in our Street Festival Guide), warm up with the indie sounds of Jenny and Johnny or Yeasayer. Consider some new artwork to the backdrop of live flamenco music at the Art, Love and Japan benefit, and celebrate Chillin' Productions' lucky 13th Anniversary. The boat will be rockin' once again at the SFNY Yacht Club, and the annual Stompy + Sunset Memorial Day endurance run is back with twelve hours of funk for your ear. If you are looking for a little more adventure, plan a road trip with our Summer Music Festival Guide.

Weekly Giveaway: Where is the giant Carnaval mural located in the mission? Email the correct answer to [email protected] for a chance to win a pair of tickets to Daniel Lanois' Black Dub at The Fillmore.
