SF Jazz Mothers Day

A warm night in San Francisco is like stumbling upon a unicorn while on a hike - quite a surprise and very rare. If you've been a winter hermit, now is the time to stretch those limbs and get out of the cave. Start off with something a little sexy... La Femme Boudoir Fashion Show at Harlot featuring designs from Dollhouse Bettie and Due Citta. On Thursday the San Francisco International Film Festival opens at the Castro Theatre followed by a gala at Bruno's and partying at El Capitan theater. If you're feeling a little 80s, then Culture Clash at Milk Bar is the party for you. Get dressed up and relive the good ol' days. Another sure thing for music lovers is Papercuts at Café du Nord. For lovers of Mother Nature, there's Berkeley Earth Day at Civic Center Park; as one of the biggest Earth Day celebrations in the Bay Area, this will be a great family-friendly event. And if you're inspired, you can find all the tools you'll need for green and healthy living at the New Living Expo at Concourse Exhibition Center. On Sunday the wildly popular Sunday Streets, car-free street parties that celebrate SF's outdoor lifestyle, kicks off at Embarcadero Plaza. Yes - spring is definitely upon us. Now get out there and enjoy it!
