New Parties for a New Year
New Year's hangovers be damned, 2013 starts strong with great parties and events to welcome the new year. Kreayshawn is back in the Bay Area for a free concert and Bass Works looks to raise money for the Hurricane Sandy relief effort with a full lineup of Bay Area DJs. Beer enthusiasts gather for local, international and domestic tastings at Bay Area Brew Festival and Hand to Mouth Comedy brings some laughs to the Mission. The Vintage Paper Fair hosts more than a million old postcards, photography, labels, brochures and pinup art and The Snowy Day and the Art of Ezra Jack Keats pays tribute to the award-winning illustrator.
