Year-round school of creative writing, offering classes in all genres - fiction, poetry, memoir, personal essay, screenwriting, playwriting, magazine writing, freelance marketing and publishing, travel writing, children's books, and much more. Courses include one-day weekend workshops, as well as 5-week and 9-week weeknight classes, and are taught by a rotating staff of more than two dozen professional writers. The Writing Salon also helps create community among writers by hosting parties, readings, and "creativity salons."
