The Willing Suspension Armchair Theatre comes to the Capitola Book Cafe for a special performance of "Dickens' Bleak House: Jo, the Crossing Sweeper." Featuring selected passages from Bleak Hous, this production focuses on the indifference of all the institutions of Victorian society to the plight of its poorest and most vulnerable members. Popular local actors Megan Parle, Frank Widman, Martha Rabin, Jessica Buckley, and Jaye Wolfe will provide the live readings under the direction of Edwin Eigner, who will also be reading.
