Description
Ciudad Juárez, a once-thriving border town, now resembles a failed state, with the city’s murder rate exceeding Baghdad’s. This is just one of thousands of sites of Mexico’s drug war, which has claimed more than 30,000 lives since December 2006, when a U.S.-backed military crackdown on cartels began. Bowden will take us inside Mexico’s drug war with insight as to who is winning!
