Hailing all the way from Melbourne, Australia, critically-acclaimed indie rockers The Temper Trap have not let their far-away roots keep them from becoming one of the most saught-after contemporary bands all over the world.
Consisting of Toby Dundas, Dougy Mandagi, Jonathon Aherne, and Joseph Greer, The Temper Trap shot to international acclaim after a standout performance at Jerome’s Laneway Festival, along with the release of their stellar debut EP in 2006. Garnering the attention and fandom of producer Jim Abbiss (of Arctic Monkey’s fame), The Temper Trap released their major label debut “Sweet Disposition” in 2009. Reminiscent of early U2 with a panoramic pop/rock sound, the album cracked the Top 40 in multiple countries, and even appeared on the indie-movie favorite 500 Days of Summer. More touring at larger festivals and an excellent Remix Compilation album titled “Conditions Remixed” further cemented the band as modern rock/pop icons. Their self-titled sophomore album featured the hit single “Need Your Love”, as The Temper Trap continue to garner new fans all over the world.
