The Tambo Rays started in early 2012 as a one-man bedroom project by Brian DaMert, veteran (but still young) rocker in the Bay Area. After recording the debut EP "Kaleidoscope" under the Tambos moniker, he decided a full-fledged band was necessary to bring the sound to the stage. Keeping it a family affair, DaMert enlisted younger sister Sara, along with good friends Greg Sellin and Bob "chillbob" Jakubs to create one of the most exciting new bands in the city. The music of the Tambos seems inherently tied to the northern Californian coast they all grew up on -- sunny, yet shrouded in that (in)famous San Francisco fog. You'll find their vibed out pop aesthetic ranging from Beach Boys tinged harmonies in "Visions" to the reverb-soaked psychedelia of "Lost Beach", which leaves you feeling adrift on a hazy ocean at sunset. It may always be summer to The Tambo Rays, just not the summer you're used to.

Success in the San Francisco indie-rock scene is difficult to come by. You need something to distinguish you from the multitude of other unshaven, fedora and skinny jeans wearing, pretty boy bands at coffee shop and pub shows with broke audiences sitting at perfectly disheveled tables. Luckily, Santa Rosa-native, San Francisco-based rockers, Girls in Suede offer something different with their refreshingly innovative sound. In their self-titled debut, the band combines influences such as surf-rock, anthem rock, prog rock, hardcore, punk, garage-rock, and jazz, into a tempo-shifting, angst-drenched sound all their own.

San Francisco transplant, Northern California singer/songwriter Travis Hayes has been sharing his direct and heartfelt storytelling for nearly a decade. In addition to writing and performing with his band, he spends his free time drinking whiskey and riding public transit through the late night hours.
