WHAT: The Shops at Tanforanand KOIT Radio invite the community to participate in Pennies for Pets to help Muttville Senior Dog Rescue, a Bay Area animal shelter, with donations that will aid in finding suitable homes for older dogs. The Shops at Tanforan is encouraging the public to make a donation or volunteer at Muttville Senior Dog Rescue.Customers can text PENNY to 69299 to receive a link to donate. All donations will go directly to Muttville Senior Dog Rescue.
About Muttville Senior Dog Rescue: Muttville Senior Dog Rescue’s mission is to change the way the world thinks about and treats older dogs and to create better lives for them through rescue, foster, adoption and hospice. The rescue reaches out to senior and special needs rescue dogs; finds suitable homes for those dogs that are adoptable; and offers end of life care for those that are not. These are not just shelter dogs; every day, dogs are moved from loving homes to concrete cages because their guardians have died or moved or simply can’t care for them anymore.
