It’s time to shake, rattle and roll! On Saturday, April 11 at 1:00pm-4:00pm, The Shops at Tanforan invites community mini-me’s to participate in a FREE afternoon dance party - Baby Loves Disco, a childproof disco party for tod¬dlers, pre-schoolers and par¬ents look¬ing for a break from the rou¬tine play¬ground cir¬cuit for some post nap¬time, pre-dinner fun. Baby Loves Disco features a live DJ playing disco music that little ones can dance to on the event area dance floor and free children activities including arts and crafts, tattoos, and face painting. For this event, The Shops at Tanforan has partnered with Project Night, Night, a non-profit organization that provides Night, Night Packages to homeless children from birth to teen with childhood essentials including security blanket, age-appropriate children’s book and stuffed animal. Baby Loves Disco will take place at The Shops at Tanforan in the JC Penney Court.
In celebration of this family-friendly event, event participants are encouraged to make donations to Project Night, Night. The Shops at Tanforan is asking the community to bring new blankets (quilted, fleece, knit, crocheted, "no-sew," and store-bought blankets) in sizes 50" x 60" or smaller, books appropriate for ages 0 to pre-teen, and new stuffed animals smaller than 20 inches. Donation drop offs can be made the week prior to Baby Loves Disco at the center’s Management Office, or on the day of the event. The Shops at Tanforan will also have additional information on Project Night, Night for interested attendees.
Participants must pick up a free wristband at the Shops at Tanforan Management Office prior to Baby Loves Disco. No purchase is necessary. Wristbands are available at the Shops at Tanforan Management Office beginning March 18, while supplies last. A Maximum of four wristbands per person, all attendees must have a wristband to gain entry. All children are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
