Description
Charo (“cuchi cuchi”) returns to The Herbst after her 2005 sold-out performance. She will be accompanied by a 3-piece band and Las Vegas dancers for a high-energy revue AND will play solo flamenco guitar. As a child in Spain, she studied classical guitar with Andres Segovia. Charo is a kick ass Flamenco guitar player. (Guitar Player Magazine twice named her the "Best Flamenco Guitarist in the World.”) Charo was a mainstay on numerous TV shows in the 60’s and 70’s and holds the record for the most “Love Boat” appearances (21).

Look for Charo as a Celebrity Grand Marshal of the LGBT Pride Parade that Sunday AM, accompanied by hordes of Charo look-alikes (many of whom vied for the crown in the 2005 Charo look-a-like contest at Trannyshack) on a pink float.
