The Purple Ones hail from Oakland, and is the brainchild of Morty Okin, former co-founder, band leader, trumpeter of the Michael Jackson tribute band Foreverland, and Roger Rocha, the lead guitarist of 4 Non Blondes and The Goldenhearts. This band was formed to pay homage to the incredible songwriting, musicianship and over the top performances of Prince. Featuring four horns, two guitars, keyboards, drums and the amazing vocal talents of Kazam Ali and Pamela Fields, the Purple Ones have what it takes to party like its 1999.
