The psychedelic instrumental quartet from Mexico
"Atmospherical distortion in epical imaginary stories sprinkled with all-free jazz."

Born in Guadalajara México, this band with13 years trajectory has been consolidate in the national and international scene as one of the best mexican contemporary musical project.

Sutra´s compositions can be described as an atmospherical and faint landscapes cascading over a solid rythm, passages reminscent of cinema sound, dosified distortion in epical imaginary stories sprinkled with all-free jazz and a psychedelic surprise facts.

Born in Mexico City, with strong familial roots in Oaxaca, Mexico. He was born in 1990 and shortly after migrated to the U.S. First growing up in Los Angeles and later moving to San Francisco.

He explores many themes rooted in his personal convictions, which are often depicted in a loose blend of the figurative and surrealist. The aim of his work is for the viewers to take a closer look at his thoughts to hopefully, in turn, take a look into their own.
