The Owl Mag All Ages Launch Party Showcasing Soulful-Rock @ Café Du Nord

The Owl Mag Dot Com celebrates its arrival onto the Bay Area music scene with a night of soulful-rock @ the cozy Café Du Nord on Thursday April 28th. The “Launch Party” features full-band performances by local emerging artists: Kiff (Chris) Gallagher, Austin Willacy and Chocolate O’Brian.

Kiff Gallagher: “Music lovers have responded well to Gallagher’s honest, upbeat flavor of acoustic soul - a cross between John Mayer and Maroon 5 with a dose of Stevie Wonder.’” -S.F. Examiner

Austin Willacy: "...reminiscent of Stevie Wonder at his most 'Superstitious,' Willacy gives it that same ready-to-burst vocal energy." -East Bay Express

Chocolate O’Brian: “Some have compared the sound of Chocolate O’Brian to Seal meets the Beach Boys... In this day and age of monkey see monkey do approaches to writing songs, Chocolate O’Brian seizes the opportunity to cast an original light on the waning creativity of contemporary popular music.”
