After 10 years directing The Nutcracker at the SJ Center for Performing Arts, Marcie Ryken takes her artistic direction to even greater heights in a spectacular new production featuring guest artists Sarah Van Patten and Carlos Quenedit, principal dancers with San Francisco Ballet. Join Clara as she celebrates with friends and family, vanquishes the Mouse King, travels with her Nutcracker Prince through the magical realm of the Snow Queen on to the palace of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Experience the Company of superb dancers and be transported by the music of Tchaikovsky's iconic score played by the renowned San Jose Youth Symphony conducted by Yair Samet.
