Joining forces with their unique yet complimentary styles, The New Up, Pebble Theory and Plum Crazy will perform a special triple-bill at Jelly's in SF. It will be a lively evening of indie rock, groove and songwriter pop with three dynamic Bay Area bands at this Pier 50 dance spot. The New Up has forged an enticing and explosive new sound that's been described as "trippy new wave" with songs that "move with a seething, aggressive kind of dream logic" (The Chicago Reader) or simply "an intriguing combination of styles" (The Onion). Pebble Theory is an original band whose mesmerizing mix of hard rock, folk and groove has drawing fans to their shows at such Bay Area venues as Cafe Du Nord, Hotel Utah, 12 Galaxies, Blake's and the Stork Club. A fun-loving brew of funk, pop and jazz with soulful vocals, Plum Crazy has been gaining momentum with radio play on Sirius, Satellite Radio, The Krush and more, and opening slots for Bay Area stalwarts The Mother Hips and Garaj Mahal.
