Hip dive bar - it’s almost an oxymoron. However, one must first define “hip.” To review the Arrow Bar, I will have to describe the subculture that frequents it so you‘ll understand what, for some, constitutes “hip.” I don’t expect most people to understand what I mean by “sceney scenesters” or “twenty-something pseudo-intellectual artists.” You could get the idea, but both judgments are somewhat vague, and not everyone has been exposed to this “scene” of people.
