The Liberator

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Landmark Theater Corp (see times)
Join us for a private reception followed by the U.S. premiere of The Liberator/Libertador.
This is the largest Latino Film ever produced in film history and is a candidate for an Oscar nomination. The film is this year's submission from Venezuela for Best Foreign Language film. It is about Simon Bolivar, the Liberator of five countries in South America. As the organizer I am reaching out to my inner circle of companies, organizations and individuals to give you an exclusive opportunity to participate. I also know that this will be a great opportunity for recruiting, networking in San Francisco and promoting your cause and organization. The film will be preceded by a reception where sponsors and organizations will be recognized.

The film is an epic film that for the first time portrays the story of Simon Bolivar. The movie is directed by Alberto Arvelo (To fight and to Play, Cyrano Fernandez), musical score was created by Gustavo Dudamel (conductor for the L.A. Symphony), and the lead actor is Edgar Ramirez (Zero Dark Thirty, Bourne Ultimatum, Wrath of the Titans, Carlos).

Your sponsorship will go towards three Bay Area organizations:

1) Latinos in Finance (www.latinosinfinance.org ) which is looking to raise funds for its finance bootcamp programs for college students interested in a career in finance. LIF seeks to increase the number of Latinos working in the finance industry by leveraging its networks and resources.

2) Escuela Bilingüe Internacional (www.ebinternacional.org), is seeking to raise funds for its Diversity Fund to help maintain the socio-economic diversity of the school. EBI is the only private Spanish immersion IB school in the San Francisco Bay Area.
