This course explores the language of painting through a stimulating series of visual experiments and techniques. Explore perception, the dynamic organization of forms, luminosity of color and visual expression. Through this 10-week process the student is provided with both technical proficiency and a personal painter’s vocabulary that is relevant whether the student’s aim is realism or abstraction. The Language of Painting is equally challenging and rewarding for students of all levels.
