If you had told me an upscale California-kosher restaurant would win best new restaurant on the peninsula, I would have said, Get out of here, you messhugge (that's crazy in Yiddish). But it's not so crazy once you sample the restaurant's house-made pastrami, excellent knishes and other kosher creations. There are nontraditional items, too, like the BLT made with lamb bacon and turkey mole meatballs.

The menu features a mix of Mediterranean, Kosher, and California Cuisine - from a Lamb BLT to hummus, from Burgers and fries to roasted duck served with a corn tamale... a delicious mix for many tastes.
