In concluding the celebration of Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month, we would like to share this Chinese-American family’s journey of love, sacrifice, and wisdom. Follow the journey of these two remarkable women’s path to success. We would like to give hope and encouragement to families of Asian Heritage and families of all other ethnicity. We will delve into and share the secrets and wisdom of a positive and heart warming parenting style.

Miss Crystal Lee and Miss Jasmine Lee will share their insight into how they manage the demands of being successful students, dancers and public figure. Both Crystal and Jasmine Lee started their ballet training at a young age under the guidance of Artistic Director, Ms. Shan-Yee Poon, graduate of the prestigious Royal Ballet School, London. Miss Crystal Lee showcased ballet as her talent in both the Miss California and Miss America Pageants.

Miss Crystal Lee is a graduate of Stanford University earning both her MA in Communications & BA in Human Biology in 2013. She presently holds the title of Miss California 2013 and First runner up to Miss America 2014. Ms. Lee is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) advocate.

Ms. Jasmine Lee is Miss San Francisco's Outstanding Teen 2011, Miss Asian San Francisco 2012, and is currently finishing her sophomore year at UC Berkeley, majoring in Computer Science.

Crystal and Jasmine Lee attribute their success to having wonderfully wise and loving parents, as well as the guidance they received from all the caring insightful educators, dance instructors, and mentors who have helped nurture and shape their character and talent into the successful young women you witness today.

Learn how their parenting methods helped to instill the most admirable qualities into these two amazing young women, and how their wisdom can inspire and encourage other parents in their journey to guiding their children's personal paths to success.
