To raise awareness and funds for Lung Cancer, and to honor a friend, Jill Costello, who lost her battle to the disease at only 22, Kelcey Harrison, a 24-year-old Harvard grad, began running across the country from NYC to SF on July 30th. Kelcey has nearly completed the 3,500 mile journey, running 30-35 miles a day, and has raised close to $150,000 for Lung Cancer research. On Saturday, December 1st, Kelcey will be running across the Golden Gate Bridge and in to Crissy Field to complete her cross country journey.
