The Garage’s ongoing performance showcase series featuring multi-media, contemporary dance, spoken-word, experimental theatre and performance art.
• RAW (resident artists' workshop)
a 12 week residency program offering approximately 4-6 hours of free rehearsal space that culminates in a two night performance. performance, artists of all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
• SPF (summer performance festival)
is The Garage’s annual performance festival, featuring both veteran and emerging artists. SPF enters its fourth year and in 2009, the festival will feature a three-months-long series that reflects the broad spectrum of contemporary performance in the Bay Area.
AIRspace (Artist In Residence) is a work-in-progress performance laboratory and rehearsal program at The Garage.
• SAFEhouse for the Performing Arts
SAFEhouse for the Performing Arts (Saving Arts From Extinction) is a non-profit, arts-presenting organization that specializes in incubating new performing art through residencies, workshops and performance.
