The Flavr Blue: The Flavr Blue peddle synthy love songs by beautiful creatures from Seattle. The trio is catchy and intelligent, with boy-girl vocals, laid-back beats, and awesome effects: perfect for closing your eyes and letting your body move whichever way it chooses. The band has only been around for a few years, but has made Seattle very proud in that short time. Both R&B and Scandinavian electro influences the band's brand of electronic dance music. The Flavr Blue is supremely chill, and yet once the band manages to grab you by the brain they don't let go. The three piece hits the stage with Hollis in the center, and her two friends/dude vocalists Lace and Parker as her wingmen. The boys man the synths, occasionally hitting percussion instruments or picking up a guitar to complete the Flavr Blue sound, as projected art visually stuns witnesses. The crowd sways as the music washes over them -- three part harmonies, subtle electro pop, and lyrics about the here and now, love, and dreams. Dreamy would be a best way to describe the music, it's not too obvious nor too energetic, just a perfect blend of easy listening and EDM. Allowing yourself to succumb to the Flavr Blue is the best way to enjoy the band, whether they are just in your headphones, or on the stage in front of you.
