The Depression Toolkit: Workshop

SEE EVENT DETAILS
The Depression Toolkit is a day-long class designed for people who would like to respond to episodes of depression in a more optimal way. Whether or not you have a formal diagnosis from a mental health professional, this class will give you information to make choices about management from a more informed, empowered perspective.

The content of this class is based on recent and reliable information about the physical, psychological, social and ecological, and existential impact of living with low moods. The focus is on information and practical skills that students can immediately apply to their lives, including: mindfulness-based approaches to stress reduction, authoring a personal wellness plan, how to choose the right kind of psychological support, and how to get the most out of psychotherapy. Class size is limited, allowing for a great deal of personal attention and participation.

Participants are asked to bring their own lunch. Coffee, tea, natural beverages, local mountain spring water, and fresh fruit are provided.
