As Samuel Alito faces Senate confirmation hearings in January, many people want to know more about him: Is he a fair-minded judge, and as heir to Sandra Day O'Connor's seat, what will he do to provide balance on the court? Will he seek to blur the line between church and state? How will he vote on abortion issues? Our panel will discuss what it takes to get through the confirmation process, and what Alito may face if he becomes the next U.S. Supreme Court justice. We'll also discuss the future of the high court if it includes both Alito and Chief Justice John Roberts.
