Attendees will be able to purchase directly from wholesale merchants specializing in beading and jewelry supplies, with extensive inventories of silver, copper, brass, glass, stone beads and findings, along with designer embellishments, vintage jewelry elements, and artisan supplies. Those looking for collectibles and antiquities will discover fine art jewelry, artifacts, ethnographic objects, nomadic costumes, vintage and antique glass, stone, and gold beads, tribal, scarab, venetian, trade, and ancient amber beads, handmade gold and silver pieces, champlevé enamel, Gablonzer crystals, sacred textiles, hand spun yarns, ceremonial objects, and recycle textiles.In addition to the exhibits, BABAS also will present some 8,000 square feet of workshops and classes, taught by award-winning artisans, in such skills as polymer clay, enamel bead making, talismans jewelry, riveting, resin jewelry, beadwork, soldering, glass casting, repousee, metal work, and wire work.
