Come celebrate the launch of The Bay Citizen!

As a new non-profit media organization, our mission is to enhance civic and community news coverage in the Bay Area, stimulate innovative journalism and foster civic engagement. With the journalism field and access to local news and cultural issues in jeopardy across the nation, our goal is to become a model for public service journalism in cities across the country.

Before May 26, donating $50 or more makes you a founding member of The Bay Citizen. Founders will be permanently acknowledged on a special section of our website, and receive two tickets to our launch party where we will have live music, hors d'oeuvres, and an open beer and wine bar.
