The Accounting Office is a one-stop, multifaceted, client-oriented "We want to help make your life more organized" kind of place.
Over the past thirty plus years I have worked with attorneys covering such areas as worker's comp, bankruptcy, family law, immigration, corporations, real property, conservatorships, guardianships, trusts and probate and various civil matters.
For over twenty years I have worked independently, freelancing as a probate assistant. My forte has been balancing complex estate accountings, asset tracing and dealing directly with clients. Through estate work, I became involved with preparing 706 Federal estate tax returns.
After moving to Carmel in 1988, I worked with an enrolled agent handling all her payroll business clients, running payrolls and preparing all necessary quarterly and year-end tax reports and returns, sales tax returns, W-2S, 1099s, etc. I had my own tax clients and continued with my probate and trust work. I have handled in excess of two hundred probate, joint tenancy terminations and related matters.
Several years ago I co-authored a book for parents on teaching children how to manage money and I work individually with adults teaching them tools to help tHem manage their finances.
Currently I handle primarily individual, trust and corporate returns. I also do all bookkeeping for several clients.
