SEE EVENT DETAILS
at North Oakland Senior Center (see times)
African Americans continue to be twice as likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease and more likely
diagnosed in its late stages. This is your opportunity to learn more about Alzheimer’s disease
and interact with other caregivers in similar caregiving situations as you. In addition to
learning more about Alzheimer’s disease, caregivers will learn how to respond when Alzheimer’s
causes unpredictable behaviors and various ways to stay strong during stressful caregiving experiences.
