On Thanksgiving Day 2013, Thursday, November 28, Urban Tavern in San Francisco will be serving from noon to 9:00 PM a $39.95 three-course prix fixe menu and a children’s option for $17.95 (ages 5 to 12). The prix fixe menu starter choices will be butternut and cider bisque or seasonal salad with roasted pumpkin, crispy bacon, goat cheese, spiced pecans and warm balsamic; and the entrée choices will be roasted turkey with chestnut and corn bread stuffing, mashed potatoes, maple glazed root vegetables, crisp pork belly and Brussels sprouts, and cranberry relish or vegetable pot pie with simmered carrots, broccoli, potatoes, and tofu topped with a flaky, butter crust. For dessert, diners can enjoy a warm apple cobbler or sparkling cider float. Price excludes tax and gratuity. The restaurant's lounge menu will also available until 11:30 PM.
