Thanksgiving Day Dining at Beach Chalet in San Francisco

On Thanksgiving Day 2013, Thursday, November 28, Beach Chalet in San Francisco will be open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM serving a $46.00 three-course prix fixe menu with Starter choices of toasted pumpkin salad with goat cheese and bacon cider vinaigrette; cinnamon spiced duck breast with beets and pomegranate; seared local tuna a la Niçoise; Dungeness crab cakes with upland cress and preserved lemon; romesco spicy pork spare ribs with peanuts, sesame sticky sauce and cilantro; fall chop salad with local greens, warm pears, persimmons, pomegranate, pumpkin seeds and grapefruit tarragon vinaigrette; or butternut squash soup with spiced crème fraîche and crispy sage. Main course choices will house brined turkey with whipped potatoes, apple pancetta stuffing, Brussels sprouts, cranberry compote and giblet gravy; Kentucky ham with sweet potato pie, peppered green beans and spiced cider poached pears; pan roasted king salmon with Russian potatoes, cabbage, salsify, wild mushrooms and brown mustard pinot noir sauce; or house made pumpkin ravioli with chanterelle mushrooms, kale, sage cream and toasted pumpkin seeds. A limited a la carte bar menu will also be available.
