Tennis is an indie-pop duo from Denver, Colorado made up of husband and wife team Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley. Ritual In Repeat (out now and available on CD & LP) is the duo's highly-anticipated third full-length release produced by Patrick Carney (The Black Keys), Jim Eno (Spoon), and Richard Swift (The Shins).
The band worked in three separate cities with their well-known producers. They returned to Nashville to work with Patrick Carney on five of the albums tracks including "Never Work For Free." They worked with Jim Eno in his Austin Studio on "Bad Girls" and with Richard Swift in Portland who collaborated with the band on four songs including "Timothy."
Tennis began writing music together as a way to document the history of their time living aboard a sailboat. The result was their first release, Cape Dory. Moore and Riley followed with Young and Old, which The New Yorker described as "winsome as it is ebullient." American Songwriter named Alaina and Patrick their writers of the week in April 2012. Tennis subsequently released the Small Sound EP to much critical acclaim.
Also catch Tennis later that night at Great American Music Hall.
