Following the 38th Parallel around the world, former park rangers David and Janet Carle set out from Mono Lake to explore water-related environmental challenges and connections. The heart of their adventure became the passionate individuals they encountered along the way struggling to preserve some of the world’s most amazing, yet threatened places. In one hour, they will share striking photographs and fascinating stories from Japan, Korea, China, across the Mediterranean Sea from Turkey to Portugal, and the United States from Chesapeake Bay to San Francisco.
Presented by the America’s Cup Healthy Ocean Project Film and Lecture Series, the evening will kick off with a reception and book signing at 5:30 pm, followed by a presentation at 6:30 pm.
